“The real Loch Ness Monster is not in Loch Ness… but under the kilt!”

This pit stop moment photo is from a moment of truth. During my trip through the Scotland Highlands we came across a cheerful Scot in full traditional highland dress playing the bagpipes at one of the scenic lookout points. This semi-drunk but incredibly talented bagpipe player informed me of the truth about the Loch Ness Monster. That the monster is not in Loch Ness, but under the kilt of a Scotsman.
Side note: For all those cringing at the moment, I did not see any inappropriate male parts. Though a dirty joke, it was all in good humor. He is not a crazy or creepy man.
The Scotland Highlands is a stunning place to visit although sometimes the weather can make it difficult to see the rolling green hills and mountains. This moment occurred while adventuring with Discover Scotland tours heading up to the Isle of Skye from Glasgow. Our tour guide informed me that this man usually performs every day, so make sure to stop, say hello, throw him some coinage and he will gladly play a Scottish tune for you.
